LEN HARVEY 1907-1976 I am looking for information on Len Harvey who was a boxing Champion c1930`s. He became licensee of The Star & Garter Pub Islington after his retirement from boxing I would like to know the names of his parents etc also if any living relatives Any info welcome

Hi Susan
there is a very rare book written about Len Harvey, I managed to find it in the local library but couldn't take it out, I managed to glean some info from it
Len's parents were William Henry Edward Harvey (known as Ted) and Ada Jane Penny. William was a tin miner . Len had a son Terry who died of meningitus while serving in the Royal Marines in 1947
