Hi, I'm trying to find any info on my granfather George H Atherton who married Elizabeth Ashurst in March 1918. They had two son's Arthur Ashurst who was born before they married and Stephen born later when they married. They lived on Manchester Rd, Kearsley. My grandfather left them when the boy's were young. Don't know what happened to him then. I've been told that George was married before to a Margaret Jepson in 1893 and had a son named Albert C Atherton and a daughter Gladys E Atherton. They lived at 321 Bayne Rd, Ashton In Makerfield according to 1901 census. If anyone can help, please reply. Gail. |
