Christine Edgeworth Looking for relatives or links with the Taylor family who lived in Kingham Oxford. My great grandfather Thomas Taylor is listed in the 1841 census as being 2. He lived with his mother Jane Taylor, brother Joseph Taylor, and sister Julia Taylor at the time although I know there were several other children as well. There were Middlesex connections and I believe Joseph Taylor my great great grandfather was in service in Middlesex probably explaining the children being with the mother in 1841. Certainly other siblings were born in Middlesex. Thomas married Alice Gorringe in 1870 and was a butler in a house in Treville Hereford where Alice was the cook. They had 10 children. Harry Taylor 1870. Arthur 1872 who emigrated to New Zealand. Maud 1874. Blanche 1876. Violet 1878. Frank 1881. Eva 1882. Maurice 1883. Cicely 1885 and Edith 1886. Ring any bells? If so would like to hear from you.
