Member Since: November 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find my Maternal Grandmother's relations. I only have brief details, but someone may be able to link to it. Her full name was Catherine Elizabeth Mitchell, and she was born somewhere in Scotland in c1869. I have been told that she was brought up in a crofter's cottage in Scotland. Her Father was a William Mitchell. She married Alfred Gadney in Gibraltar, in 1889, and her marriage details lists her Father's occupation as Cottar, which I believe is what we Sassenachs call a crofter. Not much to go on, but you never know!! Ronald Hailes.
