WENDY DENNIS (nee BROWN) I am looking for help in locating my Grandfather's roots.He was JOSEPH BROWN b. 1875 He married ANNIE MARY PARKINSON IN 1903. They lived in Cudworth Nr. Barnsley Yorks. where he was a miner. On their marriage certificate his father is listed as Richard also a miner,but this could have been a relation of sorts. I cannot find any DEFINITE proof of where JOSEPH was born or if Richard really was his father. My Gran had 4 children John Leslie b.& d. 1905, Harry (my father) b. 1906, Joseph b.abt.1907 and Alice (d. age 8) They all lived in Cudworth where I was born in 1934.I wondered if the chn's names rang a bell with anyone?(Clue?) As Cudworth was a mining village I thought Joseph's father would be from around there. Any suggestions would be welcome as I now live in Australia!
