Trying to find Bishop

Hi I'm looking for a James Bishop b1849 and his wife Elizabeth Bishop(nee Jeffcock b1850) who were both born in Sheffield.They had 6 children James, Mary, Florence, Elizabeth, Lily, and Joseph Edmund. Some were born in Sheffield and some in Lincoln where they eventually lived .James the father was knocked off his bike by a tram in Lincoln on his way to work and was killed in 1915. My problem is I can't find James and Elizabeth in the 1881 census. I have found the children Florence, Mary and James staying with relatives in both Lincoln and Sheffield. They seem to have disappeared for several years. James was a Leather Dresser by trade. Please can anyone help me? |
