Trying to find Potter

I am trying to trace the ancestors of my father Redvers Edgar Philip Potter who was born at Course Street, Wardour, Wiltshire on 5th September, 1900. He was baptised at Tisbury, Wiltshire on 9th may 1901. On his birth certificate his father is shown as Philip Daniel Potter, a butler and his mother is shown as Jessie Potter formerly Pothecariay. In the 1901 census he is shown as a boarder with the Meade family aged 6 months. The baptism records for Tisbury also show a brother Sidney Victor Potter who was also baorded out ro the Funnel family in Course Street. Searches have failed to reveal records of baptisms, marriages or deaths of either of my grandparents. Can anyone bring a 30 year search to a successful conclusion, please. |
