Can any one help me I have just started to hope to trance my family tree - and I have done nothing so far except enrol on this site. I think my grandfather was Albert Bunton and i think he was born in 1872 or thereabouts. He was born in the Stambourne essex/steeple Bumpstead area and when I was a little girl I visited him at a house called the High Folley in Cornish hall End which is just up the road from Steeple Bumpstead. He had three sons as far as I know. Herbert (my uncle Jim) Charles (my late Uncle Tom) and Victor William (Bill my father) - I believe that my grandmothers name was Lil - thats as far as I have got -but I have only been doing this for about an hour and am already hooked!!! |
