Trying to find Smith

With the name George Smith your GS is probably not the same as mine. But I will give you my info just in case you have come across mine in your research. George Robert Smith b.1857 Chelsea. married Annie Collin b. Broadstairs. moved from Fulham where they married to Ramsgate in 1891. Had George Welby Smith b Rams.1892 then Frank Cranfield S. b. Rams. 1897. George Robert was a Jeweller/watchmaker living in 3 Cavendish St. (1901) Have found a G.S. living at 41 Effingham St. - Watchmaker, 1914/15. I'm sure that is him. But I have been unable to find the 2 boys anywhere. Just wondered if in your research you have any info on any other Smiths in the area?? I have found a Frank Smith at 12 Garden Row Rams. in 1936, but don't know if it is the right one. regards Christine Leader |
