Trying to find Shackleton

Trying to find any more connection to the Shackletons - John born approx 1812 in Todmorden. The married Mary Ann (poss Thomas) from Errington Yorkshire and they lived in Sowerby where they had several children - William c 1838, Hannah c 1840, Sarah c 1841 John and Fanny c 1850 Elizabeth c 1848 and James c 1848 They than moved to Oldham where most of them worked in the Mills. James married Harriet who was from Ireland and their children were John W, Mary H and Edward, all Oldham born and all Mill Workers. Any help would be much appreciated as I have hit a brickk wall! |
