SCOTLAND, Ayreshire, Ayr, Darvel, Dalmellington etc. Family and descendants of ROBERT SMITH, born c1873, married to ISABELLA McKINNON, born 1875 in Dalmellington. Smith Children: BARBARA 1895 ROBERT c1900 GEORGE c1902 Robert's children: DONALD ROBERT McKINNON SMITH c 1930 IAN SMITH b.1935,Darvel, Ayreshire. Ian had 2 daughters, born SOUTHAMPTON, in 1961 and ?. Isabella, Robert Smith's wife, was my grandfather's sister, and she kept up a sporadic correspondence with her brother's family in Australia until the 1950s.
