Hi, I'm looking for info on LANGFORDs from Cornwall. I have Matilda Williams LANGFORD b. about 1820. Her father was Walter or Joseph LANGFORD. Matilda married Edward SHUGG in St.Ives 1845 & they came to Australia in 1854. I'm trying to find her father's actual name (Walter on her Marriage cert. & Joseph on her Death Cert. - informant was her son) & that of her mother. I have a Walter LANGFORD marrying a Mary SARGENT in the right time-frame, but cannot verify this. I also want to know where her middle name of WILLIAMS came from. Any help would be wonderful. |
