I have Alexander MacKie B1776 Rothiemay m Elizabeth unknown b 1786.Their children were, Elizabeth Mackie b 1816 Isobella b1819 James b 1819 George b 1826 Jane b 1831 Janes b 1836 (it appears thus on the 1841 census) James became the Rev.Dr.James MacKie of Alves and married Eliza F b 1828 Inverness.
