This is margaret bottomley,my father was Harold bottomley, he had two brothers ,James and richard , richard was gunned down in his airoplain,he was a rear gunner, and was flying withSTIRLING BOMBERS. THERIS A MEMORIAL AT THE OLD RAF STATION, And a book of rememberance in standishall Church.My grandparents were margaret fairhurst I was christend after her and my granddad was theophilus,in my enquiries ther has been confusion over my granddads first name as they dont seem to be able to find any records, but the bottomley family were well known for not registering things. hope this helps please get back if you think we related . margaret |
