Hi I'm Mary (nee Ellis) Trying to trace descendents of Alexander Ellis born 1859 in Blackdam Urquhart Elgin Morayshire Scotland and Margaret (nee Lawlor) born 1853 Inverness Scotland. Alexander was the son of George and Jane (nee Geddes) Alexander and Margaret had ?12 children, one of whom was my grandfather Robert Ellis born 1878 Gallowhill Elgin. Robert married Mary Eadie (born August 1887 Edinburgh) They had 3 children Alexander (my father) Jean and Margaret. Robert died June 1938 in Glasgow and Mary January 1925 in Glasgow. If anyone has an Ellis, Lawlor, Geddes or Eadie in their family tree I would love to hear from you. Mary |
