My mother Brenda Jennifer ?? born in 1940's (possibley born Jennifer) was adopted by George Samuel Thompsett, she was born in Tonbridge but thinks that her real father was called Mitch and possibly lived in Canada as he was in the Army but came to visit her either in the Cantebury of Tonbridge area. My mother has been in touch with relatives (Pauline and Mary??) in Cantebury but they don't know her real father's name. Please does anyone know of anyone back in the 1940's who called himself Mitch?? who had Canadian and Armed forces connections. I am so desperate to trace my extremely vague family tree and would very much love to meet my real grandfather and his relatives. Thank you
