Hi Graeme,
I believe that your Ann may be the daughter of Henry Talbot of Langton Matravers, just outside Swanage . He was the brother of my 3xg grandfather William Chinchen Talbot. This Ann was christened at Langton on 12/1/1812, so there is an age difference, but this is quite common if the lady is getting on a bit.

Regards Trevor Quartermaine.

Hi all, I'm looking for further details of relations to Ann Talbot of Swanage, Dorset, and Joseph Taylor of Bridport, who married in Jersey 1846, both aged 30 and sailors. I've been unable to find them in 1841 census, so they may have been at sea somewhere. According to the marriage certificate, Joseph was son of William and Ann the daughter of Henry Talbot, but again have been unable to find further info. Can anyone help? Please!!
