Does anyone have any info about the Hartshorn family in Shropshire? My great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Hartshorn, born in Ironbridge c1848. Her father was William Hartshorn, born c1807 in Much Wenlock and was a chemist. He was married to Ann (c1806). She had 5 brothers - Thomas (c1832), Henry (c1834), Edward (c1836) and Albert (c1838) who were all chemists as well. The oldest sibling was William (c1830) who was a general practitioner. She had 2 sisters Eliza Ann (c1841) and Mary Jane (c1843). Does anyone have a family link to any of this lot? |
