hi sandra, thanks for helping me to find out more of my casey family , there is on one of the census that james daughter sara was born in scotland and all the other children were born in leeds i dont know anything about mary only that she came fron lanarkshire scotland and i dont know where in ireland james casey came from, on one of the census it had monahim with a question mark against it i can only think they mean monaghan, thanks for helping debs

I am not related but have Caseys from Stockton on my tree. I have researched back through Ancestry and think the following info is correct.

with 5 children at 9 Housewife Lane, Stockton

with 2 children at 2 Snowdon's Yard, Stockton

1881 Frank 12 son of James 48 c1833 born Ireland and Mary 46 c1835 born Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland at 200 Inkerman, Wombwell, Yorkshire

1871
James 38
Mary Ann 49!
with 4 children at back of 156 Fawcett? St, Brightside Bierlow, Sheffield

1861 Scotland census
James 29
Maryanne 32 (born Ireland)
with 4 children at 53 Bridewell Row, Old Monkland, Lanarkshire

1851 Scotland census

Mary 21
Eliza 2 months at 47 New Vennell, Glasgow College, Lanarkshire as lodgers with Thomas Mullen c1801 born Irelan, a fish dealer

TRYING TO FIND INFO ON MY GRT GRANDFATHER FRANCIS CASEY BORN IN 1869 LEEDS YORKSHIRE HIS FATHER WAS JAMES CASEY BORN IN IRELAND IN 1833 AND MARRIED MARY FROM LANARKSHIRE BORN 1835 THE CLOSEST I COME TO IS A FAMILY IN SHEFFIELD BRIGHTSIDE THERE IS A JAMES CASEY ABT 1856 THEN SARA BORN ABT 1862 THEN MARGARET BORN ABT 1866 THEN MY GRANDFATHER FRANK, HE LATER MARRIED ISABELLA FROM STOCKTON ON TEES AND LIVED THERE UNTIL HE DIED IF ANYONE HAS THE SAME RELATIVES AND CAN ADD MORE PLEASE GET INTOUCH
