All of my Bennetts are from Gillingham and Chatham right back to 1800

Have you all found the Medway CityArk site? It has images, freely available, of the parish registers of lots of the churches in that area.

Hi Paul and Beverly i am married to a gillingham Bennett Anthony who has a brother Rodney.Their fathers father came from Blackburn and both were named Robert Beatie Bennett thats all I know.Does it help at all?Regards Irene Bennett

Hi Paul, well me too! I have reason to believe that the Bennett line in our family were Gillingham, Kent. I posted on this board also. I too have hit a brick wall in this line. However, the names i have are Charlie (junior and senior) and Peter. The surnames connected with the female Bennetts are Osborne and Barnett. The female line progressed to Sussex. Is anyone related to Bennetts in Medway, Kent or know anything about them as i am at a brickwall.
