I am tyring to extend my researches beyond 1813. My greatgrandfather Stephen was born in Burton-on-Trent in 1813 and moved to Rotherham where he married before going on to Sheffield. He was a screw manufacturer by trade. I know from his marriage certificate that his father'r forename was John. Is there anyone out there who can help?
