Rumour has it he arrived in England on a boat that carried horses for the war. Where horse transported from Canada or America?
Any ideas?
He possibly left Leicester or Bristol around 1925. At 50 he married Elizabeth Holmes aged 31 - 17.04.1918 in Bethnal Green, His youngest child Nellie was born in 1924, He registered the birth. He left around that time and I have nothing after that. Perhaps he went back to wherever?
Any ideas?
Any help would be appreciated.
