Just one question what is Q4 for? Also 4A-985? Bit confused on that!!

Hi, He may be John Farrow PLANT Q4 1894 Mutford 4A-985. probable parents John PLANT c.1858 & Ann Elizabeth EADE (nee ???) m. Q1 1889 Mutford 4A-1004.

Hi I'm trying to find relations in Lowestoft of John Farrow Plant.

He is my husbands grandfather and we think his grandfather was of the same name.

Any help would be appreciated.
