Trying to find information about my Uncle Brian Mills, he was born in Bristol in 1937 to James John Stanley Mills and Stella Rees. He had a brother Clifford and a Sister Ethel June. As a child he may have been in a Barnardos childrens home. Would really like to either get in contact with him or anyone who knows anything about him.

Do you have his exact date of birth?

Unfortunately, it is possible that he has died. If that were the case, and he died in the period after 1984, it should be possible to identify his death in the index on line. In that case, the death certificate could provide family info, or a published obituary could perhaps be found in newspaper archives.

Have you contacted the Barnardo organization to inquire about him?
