Trying to find Sarah Ann WALTON in the 1901 census. Have found her up to 1891 then she disappears. Can anyone help.
She was born 1862 in Marston Moretaine Bedfordshire. Please help - we believe she married in 1912 so where was she in 1901?

Did she marry as Walton? 50 seems rather old for a first marriage........

Free BMD has a marriage of Sarah Ann Walton in 1891 in Ampthill, Bedfordshire which includes Marston Moretaine. Groom either Walter John Lowe or James Sparks.
1901 census has Sarah Sparks, wife of James living in Marston Moretaine. They're both aged 29 (She lied about her age to match her husband's?)
Just a guess.
Can you answer Reg's question? Did she marry as a Walton?

Sorry didn't answer last night. WALTON was her maiden name. She was an unmarried mother in the 1891 census.

FOUND HER !!!!!

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone for their time. I have finally found my Gt Gt GRANDMOTHER. She married in 1891 and knocked at least 10YEARS off her age (cheeky bugger!). Anyway Found her marriage and the fact that she later had another son. So they may be more of us out there. Will keep looking.
