What was his father's name & occupation........perhaps we could search for a likely match on the 1901 census for you ??

What year do you estimate he was born??

Thomas Albert Cook known as Alec, married Florence Ethel Jolly (known as Ethel) in Blackheath, SE London in 1919. I have no idea where he came from and would love to trace his ancestors. Family folklore has it he was born in Ireland but I have no firm proof. His father was a soldier according to the marriage cert and Thomas was a chauffeur. That's all I have...
