You have been so kind to verify and post this. I feel so novice at research and its taken me years to find (in my spare time of course) most of it. I just recently discovered Anne Fitchett fathers name.

I have recently discovered a Margaret Hallam born 1823 married to John Hallam on the 1851 census. I had wondered if Margaret was a child of Ann Fitchett Slater and Adam Slater? Because Enoch's wife Susannah and Child were living with them before their move to America. Perhaps Margaret Hallam was from another Slater family. This would have been what I thought was the 12th child.

Its apparent to me Adam loved Anne very much.......how did he ever find time for farming!
