she isnt eva, but not too sure about the yorkshire one, its a possibility.
i'm going to send for the marriage certificate to make sure i get the right one

Got the marriage cert
Sam is a grinder - which dosen't fit with the Yorkshire profression - BUT - one of the witnesses at the wedding was Louisa Schofield
As I can't find any more Evelines with father Sam - I think this must be them - can anyone with better eyes and search skills than I have come up with an alternative?
Any input/ideas would be very much appreciated

Anne,
I looked at the image of the 1901 Census
Sam Schofield is a Cotton Waste Sorter. which doesn't git with Grinder on the marriage certificate.
He coudl have changed jobs.
Eveline could have said he had a better job than he actually had.
I think I might be tempted to still have a question mark on the family, until you can find and get Eveline's birth certificate to prove her parentage.

Thanks for the input
I agree that there's still a small question mark, so I dont know where to go from here - I think this is what they call a brick wall, because I can't get her birth cert without sending for it, so I'd have to know which one to send for.
Please carry on with the ideas folks - cos I'm stumped
