I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've only just refound this post! Thank you so much for finding that out for me. What I can tell you is that their first child was born during the voyage over and they had another 5 children after that. Thomas died in 1911 in Lara(a town in Victoria, Australia) and Elizabeth in 1893 also in Lara. They were my 4x great grandparents. |

Was there marriage in England? We could look what area they married? Did they have children over here? Have you found them on the 1841 census? |

I'm trying to find the ancestors of Thomas Groves and Elizabeth Tyler. They immigrated to Australia from England in 1848 aboard the Mahomed Shah. |
