Many, many apologies!! Hadn't expected such a brilliant response and have only just checked!!
Thanks so much for all your help, this is all really useful stuff.
We are now looking in Leeds where we believe he married some time after 1947.

Does anyone have any information on my grandad whom I've never met as he put my dad up for adoption when he was young.I partuclar wanted to know if he had any other children or any siblings.He was with Ellen Choules when my dad was born but dont know anything about her either.
