can anyone throw any light on the origins of the monckton/monkton
family in worcestershire.they all appear to stem from 2 families at Rock and Droitwich at the same time.the west country branch have similar pattern of first names......any contributions welcome.

My ancestors were all from the Blandford area of Dorset and I have traced them back to late 1700's which is when the name seems to have altered from Monkton to Monckton.
