I have Thomas Harrison married to Mary Ellen nee Hesketh, in Chorley Reg Dist, on the 2 Jun 1869. Thomas' father was Ralph Harrison. Mother's name not known. Mary's parents were Thomas Hesketh & Mary nee Bowling. They were married in Leyland, on the 19 Jan 1829. The Harrison family lived at Bretherton, Lancs mostly. I have tried for many years to find someone else researching this family, perhaps descended from one of Thomas & Mary's son's, namely either Ralph Hesketh Harrison, b.1870 in Bolton, or William Thomas (Tom) Harrison, b.1880 in Leyland. I have a possible marriage for Ralph as Dec Qtr 1900, at Chorley, to Emily nee Whittle. I don't have anything further on either Ralph or Tom. There was also a sister, Mary Ann, known as Pollie Harrison, who may've married and moved to the USA, possibly to California, as my great grandma visited California in the 1930's. It's possible that it could've been to visit Tom Harrison and his family.
My line comes through the sister of Ralph & Tom, namely Margaret Ellen Harrison, who married Charles T.T. Haworth.

was a farmer, I think it says 32 acres. "Hing" is obviously Hugh, but I can't quite figure the household out -- the image only shows 7 Harrisons, from what I can tell.

I have just seen your post re Harrison family of Bretherton. I come down from that line of Harrisons. My great grandfather was James Harrison b 1867. They were farmers on the moss. I have gone back about 5 generations at the moment - Daniel Harrison b1781.
