James F could be the Frederick you seek.

Dorothy could have been confused for Doreen.

Have you tried using Options at the top of the image and selecting Standard quality images? Might make the images load a little faster. Also, have several windows open at once.

Im not sure really... my mom isnt really that interested in genealogy which i am deffo! I must admit i am a bit confused although i have never known them... but she told me names of the other siblings's children of my nan and 2 names i deffo remember but as i say Mealings are a rare name

EDITH MEALINGS born 1901 married JAMES JENNINGS m1921 q4 in BIRMINGHAM. Mom told me it was Jim but i know Jim can be also called James

Also Ancestry on my computer is really slow it took me an hour 20 minutes from 1921 to 1928 I know i can do this quicker but on the other programmes its running fine

Was Edith born in 1901? You might need to check into the 1940s for births.

Im looking at FLORENCE which is my nan's sister.

I have found that FLORENCE MEALINGS born 1908 married JEFFREY FISHER in 1929 Q2.

I have trawled the birth index for years 1929 to 1945 for children born to FLORENCE and JEFFREY and have found only 2 siblings. Their names are BARBARA FISHER b1930 Q2 and JOHN FISHER 1935 Q4 but still leaves one more missing. Im looking for MARGARET FISHER mother maiden name is MEALINGS.

Could any of u help please?

Many thanks Clare
