Adoption and possible name changes

Hi all, Trying to trace my Mams Siblings that may have been adopted.

These are the original names:-

Margaret E Bennington born 1930 Durham
Bernard Bennington born 1932 Durham
Jean Bennington born 1934 Lanchester
Kenneth Bennington born 1936 Lanchester
Florence Bennington born 1937 Lanchester
James H Bennington born 1940 Durham

All the children were born to Raymond William Bennington and Frances Louisa Bennington nee Heslop who were married in 1929.

My Mother Florence and maybe most or all of the children were taken into the Poor Law Institute after the Frances died possibly in child birth first quarter of 1940 as Raymond was in poor health and out of work he subsequently died in 1947. My Mother Florence was adopted 13th August 1942 aged 5 and her name changed to Margaret Railton, anyone have any ideas about tracing the siblings?? Thanks
