I would like to see the census records for the US. But you need a worldwide membership to do so and I was wondering if anyone had that so they could look at something for me.

Thanks,
Juliana

Never heard of worldwide but many members can access the USA census on Ancestry. com.
I suggest you might want to change your request to;USA census look up required.

Hi Sue

I am trying to find William Cook born c1850 in Louisana. He is on the 1880 census married to Addie, living in New York. I would like to find him on the earlier censuses if possible and also if he is on the 1890 census.

Thank you so much!

Margaret - I know! Thats whats making it so interesting for me! He's living in New York at the time of the 1880 census so I guess thats a little more understandable. I'm hoping that I have the correct William King on 1880 census as I dont imagine there were many black doctors around that time!

Thanks Jim.

Was he living with anyone at the time? Does it say his race?

Thank you,
Juliana

And theres me thinking everyone watch it lol

who do you think you are

The Alistair McGowan one was very interesting..on his dads B/C it had 'Anglo-Indian' and what that meant cos one of his greats had Indian blood it was noted on all their births
