Find Ancestors

I am looking for descendants of John and Sarah Nicholls, who were born in Norfolk,(1860) and Hampshire,(1862) respectively. They brought up their children, George(b.1888), Emily(b.1888), Florence Annie(b.1890, d.1898), Edith(b.1891),Ethel(b.1894), Albert(b.1895) Leonard(b.1896) and Stanley(b.and d. 1898) in Rowhedge, Colchester. My mother is the daughter of Edith, although she was not brought up by her mother. I know that George had a son, Leonard (who lived in Devon when married) and a daughter, whose name I don't know. I have spoken to descendants of Emily but they knew nothing about Edith and I cannot find any children from Ethel, Albert or Leonard, girls being especially difficult because I do not know their married surname. Can anyone help me to break through this "brick wall" for my mother's sake?She is frail and 92 andthe daughter of Edith. She would like a picture of her mum. Thanks in anticipation, Pat.
