Yeah you can. I have only visited the area once and have fell in love with it. The church is beautiful and I was amazed at how beautiful the graveyard and surroundings were. I therefore really really need to find out more about my family who once came from there.

Dear All,

Can anyone help me find information about my Great Great Grandfather William Smith born approx 1853 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. He married a lady called Ann ? from Ashton Under Hill they moved area and they lived as follows:

1881 - 60 Atherstone Road, Over Whitacre
1991 - 13 Wales Lane, Kingswinford
1901 - 10 Rushy Flanders, Foul Lane, Kingsbury.

Both he and Ann are buried at St Giles Churchyard in Nether Whitacre, and I have pictures of their gravestone!

They had children as follows:

William 1876 (St Marys Warwickshire) who married Sarah Ann Hunt/ Porter/Powell.
Sarah 1877 (Nether Whitacre)
Annie 1879 (Over Whitacre)
Jane 1881 (Over Whitacre)
John 1883 (Over Whitacre)
Lavinia 1886 (Wordsley)
Joseph 1889 (Wordsley)
Kate 1894 (Walsall)

Any help or any relations in relation to the above would be much appraciated. My father and I have come to a complete standstill with this and it is driving us mad.
Perhaps you are a relative. I would love to hear from you.

Kind regards
Emma x
