Hi Alan. I am not connected but had a look for you.
I see you have got some info on Ernest and his immediate family.
I have traced this family back to c1790. Do you have this. The 1790 is Samuel and his wife Abigail.
Re more modern details, I have found some POSSIBLE marriages for the family but you would need to confirm that Charles was the Father for each of them.
Ernest William. married 1908. April/June Qtr. reg in Chesterfield. vol 7b 1574.
to either Mary Eliz Haslam or Ellen Holmes.
Louisa. 1905. April/June Qtr. reg in Chesterfield. vol 7b 1469
George Albert to either Lucy Asquith or Beatrice Palfreyman. 1909 Jan/March Qtr. Reg in Pontefract. Yorks.
Joseph. 1906. Chesterfield. July/Sept. Qtr. vol 7b 1436.
Charles married Elizabeth Hewitt. 1873. Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Chesterfield. vol 7b 1305. Copy of this certificate will give his Father's name and occupation and witnesses who may be siblings.
This will help as I can only find Charles further back as Grandson to Samuel, so do not know who his Father was.
