Lilian aged 26 when she died in Eton vol 6a page 303, 2nd qtr 1947.
I checked from 1936-1947 could not find a marriage.

Thanks but i already have that side of information im looking for the first wife he married, her information she was Lilian Chamley but im looking for her maiden name.

Norman C Chamley mothers maiden name Collins in Lambeth vol 1d page 795, 2nd qtr 1916.

Hi
My grandfather was Norman Charles Chamley born 1916 Lambeth.
He married my grandmother Lydia Joyce Hatcher born 1930 Hendon.
I recently took mt nan to see her parents & brothers grave that i have just finished restoring when she told me about a second grave when i asked about it she said it was the first marriage to Norman all i have is whats on the head stone;
In loving memory of my dear wife Lilian Chamley who died 25th April 1947 aged 26 years old.

So she was born 1921 (nan said she came from London)
She died Wraysbury Middlesex and is where she is buried.

Anyway what im looking for is her maiden name and a date/cert number of marriage.

Any help appreciated
