Find Ancestors

I did a search of the births & marriages 1910-65 on my own family & kept a list of anyone that I thought might fit in. It took a couple of evenings & I still have the deaths to do.

A long trawl through the complete BMD indexes is the only way that any of us find information.

My god! That is going to take forever. But I'm willing to give it a go. Thank you for your help and advice.

I agree with Heather. You need to trawl through the England & Wales Death Index 1/4 by 1/4 bearing in mind that they both could have lived up to the 1960's. It's a very long job!

yes, I have this info. They are there in 1891. Although beatrice is down as Beatrice K instead of Beatrice F which it says in the 1901. its just strange that apart from the marriage detail for beatrice F that glitter baby found, there are no other birth, marriage or death records for any of them. I've searched all over ancestry and Free BMD and can find nothing.

Its really very strange. I have access to Ancestry, and on the 1901 census I have

Name: Eliza Springett
Age: 38
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1863
Gender: Female
Where born: Colchester, Essex, England

along with her husband Charles Henry age 44
and children
Alice A age 14
Frederick J age 7
Beatrice F age 11
Ellen E age 5

I have been unable to find any death details for her or her husband Charles Henry. And am unable to find any other information on her children. It is so so strange. They just seem to disappear.

Have you found the death of Charles Henry to see if she was informant.

Did any of the children marry - she could have been a witness?

Well she would still be a comparatively young woman in 1901 - did her husband die and she remarried perhaps?

Hi

Any help much appreciated. Trying to find death details for Eliza Springett, born in Essex in 1862/1863. Her maiden name was Warren. Am unable to find anything anywhere and its getting really frustrated. The last info I can find for her is on the 1901 census with her husband Charles Henry and children.

Anybody able to help.
