Thanks Mhiari ,I``ll try the Mitchell Library.I am a member of Scotfamtree but only on the free forum ,I have been thinking of subscribing to be a full member.I got their address from one of your messages on the genes page so I must thank you for that .

You could try getting in touch with the Mitchell Library in Glasgow.

They hold the original Poor Relief Applications so should be able to help you out with the districts.

The people at the following website know a lot about Poor Relief and are often at the Mitchell so if you cant find out the info i'm sure they'd know, or be able to find out

Hi
Does anybody know the distict numbers for Glasgow.I want to order a Film from the Mormon Family History Search with information about Poor Relief Applications records for Glasgow but they are organised by district numbers .I have been trying to find information on internet but haven`t been able to find anything.The area I am looking for is - 102 Main Street, Gorbals , Glasgow as that is where my ancestor lived in 1851.Thanks.
