Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	I'm trying to find anyone who knows of Ambrose McAlpine from Govan/Glasgow. He was married to Jeanie McAlpine (nee McNeil) and had 3 children Hugh, Jean and Billy, as well as a step-daughter Betty. He was my grandfather, I'm Jeans only daughter. I know my gran and him separated or divorced when my mum was just a child(no idea how old). My mum was born in 1935. My mum has fond memories of him but knows nothing about what happened. I think there may be a connection with horseracing?
