im looking for birth details on john forshaw born in lathom lancashire england in 1881 i know his grandfather was richard forshaw but i can not find his mother or his father or his birth records can any one help please

the 1881 census has Richard and Catherine with grandson John age 11 months and living with them is unmarried daughter Mary age 22. It's possible she is John's mother and maybe went into service leaving John with her parents. You need to get his birth certificate.
