CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE
LOOKING FOR A MARRIAGE BETWEEN

THOMAS RINGROSE and
FRANCES ?
AROUND 1880(as this is when the first child was born)
THOMAS WAS FROM HOLTEN LE CLAY LINCOLNSHIRE b1851
FRANCES WAS FROM LINCOLNSHIRE b1845

LOOKS POSSIBLE THAT FRANCES COULD HAVE BEEN MARRIED BEFORE, IT ALL DOES FIT!
PROBABLY ORDER THE CERT TO PROVE IT.

JUST FOUND A MARRIAGE FOR A FANNY POTTINGER AND A TOM RINGROSE,

CAISTOR 1889,
AFTER THEIR CHILDREN WERE BORN,THIS WAS PROBABLY WRONG BACK THEN BUT SEEMS TO FIT!!

Hi ,Here is the marriage

St John's Grimsby 22/07/1889

Tom Ringrose age 39 a fisherman of Victor Street Grimsby
Father William a deceased farmer

Fanny Pottinger age 42 a widow of Victor Street
Father John Radley a farmer

Wits Fredrick Mingay Chapman and Elizabeth Myers

Frances's was often called Fanny

A Fany Radley married a Richard Pottinger in 1864 Caistor District but I dont have those details, sorry

I have the CD for Grimsby marriages 1837/1960 ish(church of England)
Also have the Buriel register for Scartho Rd cemetery Grimsby.

ARE THESE DISCS EASY TO COME BY AS THEY WOULD PROBABLY HELP ME OUT AS MOST OF MY FAMILY AND MYSELF ARE FROM GRIMSBY.

THE BURIEL REGISTER FOR SCARTHO SOUNDS INTERESTING,WHAT INFO DO YOU GET ON THAT?

Hi Suzi,I bought my CD's about 5 years ago from a lady at my local family history meeting,they have been very good in finding the marriages in my family.Saves all the money on certificates!!

Here is the info you ask for.
Jack Robinson Barney age 54
Died 25 September 1952
was Buried on 29th September
Reg Entry 14/59097

I can find no memorial stone for him.
