I am trying to find information on John George Foster born on 8 January 1897 in the village of Scorton, near Richmond, North Yorkshire. I have his birth certificate and have confirmation from this that his mother was Annie Foster - no father was listed. He also has had a sister or possibly half sister called Lucy Abigail Foster (born 20 May 1894) and again Annie listed as mother but again no father was listed on birth certificate. |
