My Grandfather, Thomas ( Tom ) Flaherty of Galway City, lost contact with his Sister during the 1st World War. He had fought at the Somme and when he returned his sister had married a British Officer, probable surname ''Barber'' and moved I think to Belfast.Contact was lost during this time and the following years but I feel that my Grand-Aunt would have had her own family. If anybody can relate to this sparse information please get in touch.
