His marriage:

Marriages Mar 1906 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BUCKLEY Mary Newcastle T. 10b 117
CONROY Elizabeth Newcastle T. 10b 117
CONROY L Newcastle T. 10b 117
Milne James Newcastle T. 10b 117
Mitchell Arthur Somerville Newcastle T. 10b 117

You'll find his father's name and occupation from the marriage certificate - this should help you trace the family on the census. There were several James Milnes living in the Newcastle area in 1901. Do you have any clues as to names of his parents or siblings?

I am trying to find out information about my g.g.grandfather James Milne who, i am guessing was born about 1884. He had several children by his wife Mary Buckley, one of the oldest being John George who was born in 1906 and married Mary Massey in 1929.
