my fathers name is frederick edward sisson and i believe he was born in derby around 1945-50. his parents were called albert and mini (i think!) and lived in eastwood nottinghamshire. grandad albert used to tell me stories about an uncle billy who owned monkeys and i believe the family had connections with melton mowbry, leicestershire at some point in history as he used to tell me stories about a brass band called the toy soldiers. my father was married before he married my mother and had 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, i believe the girl was called nicola and would have been born around 1975(ish) i know very little information about this side of the family. my father married my mother patricia in the late 70s. i would be grateful if anyone could help me with any information that could help me trace this side of my family tree.
