Hi Carrie,

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, as I only have her marriage details, I cannot get her birth cert. I don't know when or where she was born. This is the info I am trying to get. I guess like me, you couldn't find her on any records.

Who were the witnesses, possibly family members?

No Ellen Phillips with father called Arthur, very similar but not fitting the deatils given, best for you to send for BC and get mothers name too, to help find her.

Hi Reg & Carrie,

The marriage certificate states that her name was Ellen Lucy Phillips, spinster
Address 25 Woodchester Street
Father - Arthur Phillips Labourer
They were married in Paddington. The certificate was not witnessed by Arthur.

Hi...Help !! I am trying to trace the birth and the mother of Ellen Phillips. Born approx 1896 and married Charles Barnett on 27/5/1919 in Paddington. From the marriage certificate I know that her father was called Arthur, I guess he would have been born approx 1872ish.
I cannot seem to find her birth record or her mothers details.
