Joyce Report 29 Oct 2007 21:01

My grandmother Susan Mackinnon (nee Moffat) was born on 10th April 1898 in Ballieborough, Co.Cavan.

Her parents were Margaret Jane (nee Preston) [B: 1874 - D: 1944] and Samuel Gordon Moffat [B: 1867 - D: 1947]. Margaret Jane was born in Ballieborough and Samuel Gordon was born in Tullyallen Co. Armagh.

They were married on the 27th April 1896.

I know that they had several other children other than my granny, at least two boys one of whom was called Duncan who was a headmaster/teacher in Co. Monaghan. I would love to hear from anyone who would happen to have any further information.

Joyce Williamson (nee Speirs)
